Matters Arising:

The rules sub-committee had a meeting on 17 February and the proposed rules are enclosed with these minutes, to be sent to clubs for any comments before they are sent to Berks and Bucks.

We have had an enquiry from Tring Town AFC who want to enter a team in the league next season.

There have been several responses to our email concerning the restart of the season.

Peter, Marcie and Margaret will be attending a “Teams” meeting held by Berks and Bucks on Thursday 4 March.

Registration Secretary’s Report

Registrations were closed on 1 March. Any players in a step 3-6 league that has been declared null and void this season had the right to sign for an ADL team up until that time, 16 timely applications have been received.

Please check on WGS to make sure all outstanding registrations have been approved or rejected before 9 March, or they will be lost, as the Whole Game System is being updated from 10 – 17 March and will not be available.

Fixtures Secretary’s Report

The season will restart on 10 April, however clubs can if they wish start on 3 April. It is hoped that the season will be finished by the last Saturday in May, giving 8 Saturdays to be used. If clubs have more than 8 games left, there will be mid-week games. Some teams have already contacted Richard concerning the availability of their pitches, and of their players for mid-week games.

Several teams have said their pitches are unavailable in June for various reasons. Can each team consider how their fixtures can be completed by the end of May and whether they need to withdraw. If this is done before Saturday 20 March there will be no charge, after that date existing rules and regulations will continue.

It will be necessary to have an SGM to amend the date of the finish of the season, and clubs will be given seven days’ notice of this meeting.

Referees Secretary’s Report

Kevin has referees ready for when games restart, none yet from other leagues.

Press/Results Secretary’s Report

If teams are looking for Friendlies please send a message to Marc.

Any Other Business

We have been informed by Berks and Bucks that there will be no relaxation of Covid Rules when the league restarts, can Secretaries please make Managers, Players and Covid officers aware of this.

The meeting closed at 8.10 p.m.

The next meeting was arranged for 31 March 2021.
