Minutes of the meeting of Aylesbury and District Football League Committee held at 7.00 p.m. on Wednesday 4 August 2020 at Aylesbury Tennis Club

Kevin Dunnings was welcomed to the meeting, he will be co-opted to help check grounds and associated tasks.
The Minutes: of the meeting of 1 July 2020 were accepted.
The corrected rules are now ready to be sent out to clubs, they will be sent with the AGM paperwork.
The four new clubs have been interviewed.
Peter has not yet had a meeting with Michael Donnachie.
Roger Ewers has resigned from Ludgershall football club, after 21 years.
Eight clubs had not been affiliated, but having emailed them, they are all in the process of doing so.
Rob Fenn has some concerns about registrations in connection with Covid 19, and he has been referred to Marcie, the registrations secretary.
Tring Corinthians Development team queried their payment to a referee, when the game was abandoned after 28 minutes.
All clubs have been sent an email concerning what is needed to start the season safely.
COVID 19 Safeguarding Risk Assessment:
Each team will need to appoint a Covid 19 officer who will attend all home matches.
That person then needs to complete a Risk Assessment for their Home Venue using the template in the COV19 Safeguarding Risk Assessment Guidance.
The document needs to be checked by another club member and continually updated.
This document should NOT be sent to the LEAGUE or the COUNTY FA, it is to be sent to the opposition (and referee?) before each home game. If there is disagreement between the teams about the Covid 19 arrangements, the League Welfare Officer (Peter Rice) will be asked to intervene to make a final decision.
Each club needs to inform the League Secretary that they have completed a Risk Assessment, and give the name of the Covid 19 officer.
A Linesmans flag will be carried by each team to avoid cross-contamination, these will be supplied by the league.
Payment to officials should be placed in a sealed envelope (notes only)
Registration Secretary’s Report
Teams are sending in their registration forms, everything seems to be under control.
Fixtures Secretary’s Report
The divisions have been arranged, details will be sent out to clubs on Thursday, 6 August.
There are four new clubs.
For Cup games to be completed from last season Peter is looking for a venue, as games cannot be held at Tring Athletic. They cannot be played until 1 September and some games will need to be played mid-week. Only players who were registered with clubs as at the 1st March 2020 are eligible.to play in these cup matches, and the four game rule will apply. Even if they have signed for a different club for the forthcoming season, they will be eligible to play for their “old” team for the cup matches.
Teams will have 7 days before their allocated fixture to cancel, otherwise they will be liable for the costs of the game.
Peter has arranged with Rivets Sports and Social Club for the AGM to be held there on 24 August. Social distancing will be applied. One representative from each club will be asked to attend, all will be asked to wear masks. Each attendee will be signed in by a committee member, and a remote temperature gauge will be used.
Four new teams need to be voted in. There are no new rules to be voted for.
Referees Secretary’s Report
Currently there are 16 referees willing to come back, but they are not all available each week. With the possibility of 20 games a week this could prove to be a problem.
Three referees were promoted this season.
Congratulations to Sophie Dennington who is a finalist in the B&B FA Grassroots Football awards.

Marc will update the website with details of the divisions, also with the email addresses of each club.
Any Other Business
Currently the league cannot allow any affiliated team to participate in any external cup games, until the league fixtures are completed. There will be no County Cup this season.
The 20-21 Season will start on 3 October.
New teams will need to pay the full fee, however, the 2020/21 annual subscription will be £20 per each existing team, to compensate for the early end to last season.
Two of the new clubs have yet to pay their deposit / entrance fee.
