Minutes of the meeting of Aylesbury and District Football League Committee held at
7.30 p.m. on Wednesday 30 May 2018 At Aylesbury Tennis Club
Present: P Rice, Mrs M Harrison, R Lipscombe, M Pollard, K Saw, T Skeggs, Mrs M Stevens, M Thoday.
The meeting was also attended by Ian Macleod

Before the meeting started there was a meeting with representatives from Great Milton concerning their game with Wingrave and the behaviour of some of their players.

The Communications Officer at B & B will be forwarded comments on the lack of communication from them to us.
Peter went to the funeral of Derek Gallagher, which was very well attended.
Not all clubs that are owed £20 for referee reimbursement have been contacted, but they will be before the AGM.
The league registration window will open on 5 June and registrations can be made from 12 June.
Following adverse Facebook comments about the League, Berks and Bucks will be writing to the individual concerned with a reminder of their responsibilities and that the County FA does have the ability to take formal misconduct action over social media postings.

There will be no Subsidiary Cup next season until all league games have been played.
Referees Secretary’s Report
Kevin gave a massive thanks to all referees this season, and wished a happy retirement to those who have retired from refereeing.
Applications for referees for next season have been sent out, 35 so far, including three potential new referees.

Could clubs requesting friendlies, have ability for home friendlies, or have a pitch to hire for friendlies could they email Marc to place an advert
Any clubs looking for new players, or players looking for a new team also please make contact to place an advertisement, which will be placed on our Facebook page and our website.

Any Other Business
1. The trophies are not in a good state, they have not been kept up to date with engraving.
The rules should be enforced. They state:
It shall be the responsibility of all Clubs with trophies to ensure the name of the Club and the season are engraved on the trophy by a suitably qualified craftsman in the style appropriate for the particular trophy. In the event of a Club failing to comply with this Rule the Officers of the League shall have the power to arrange for a suitable inscription to be made on the trophy, and to recover the cost from the defaulting Club.
2. League sponsorship was discussed. Marc knows a couple of people that may be interested in sponsoring, he will make further enquiries. We could sell more space in the Cup Final programmes if we do it in good time.
The meeting closed at 9.45. The next meeting was arranged for Wednesday 4 July 2018.
