ADL Committee Minutes March 2018

Minutes of the meeting of Aylesbury and District Football League Committee held at

7.30 p.m. on Wednesday 7 March 2018 At Aylesbury Tennis Club


Present: P Rice, Mrs M Harrison, M Pollard, N Sabatini, T Skeggs, R Small, A Swain, Mrs M Stevens, M Thoday.

There was a one minute silence for Norman Mead who recently died. He was involved with Haddenham Football Club, and was also a vice president of ADFL. The Chairman will represent the league at the funeral.


The Minutes: of the meeting of 7 February 2018 were agreed


Matters Arising:

Margaret has written to B & B concerning information to be passed on to the league, but to date has not had a reply.

Marc has contacted a photographer who can cover most of the Cup Finals

The matter concerning the damage to changing rooms at Wingrave has been resolved.

ADFL have received no further information from either the Berks and Bucks or Oxfordshire FAs about the abuse of an Oving player.



Three teams in ADFL have indicated that they may be withdrawing at the end of the season.

There have been enquiries from six other teams who want to enter our league. Any other teams interested please contact the Secretary, Chairman or the Treasurer. BBFA are hosting an information and updates evening on Tuesday 3 April. Tony has offered to attend.

Cup Final tickets have been applied for.

Fixtures Secretary’s Report

There has been a limited response from teams for Senior & Junior Invitation Cups but both will hopefully go ahead if games are played on 10th March.

In the first instance teams should look at FULL TIME for up to date fixture

details and League tables.


League Tables are on Full Time for season 2016/2017. Teams just need to click

on the drop down list for season and select 2016/2017.


Referees Secretary’s Report

Can all secretaries remind managers that spectators are their responsibility. Two teams recently have been reported to Berks and Bucks for the behaviour of their spectators, and of their assistant referees.

Kick off times from 1st March are 2.30 for league games and 2.00 for cup games.

Ayletico did not give confirmation of 24.2.18 game to the referee in a timely manner.



Press/Results Secretary’s Report

Can clubs send in match reports for cup finals via text, together with team photographs for the newspapers.


Any Other Business

There was discussion about a possible new President and also Vice Presidents. As a result the Chairman was asked to approach a well-known local individual to take on the role of President to the league.


The meeting closed at 9.05

The next meeting was arranged for Wednesday 4 April 2018.
