ADL Committee Minutes Feb 2018

Minutes of the meeting of Aylesbury and District Football League Committee held at

7.30 p.m. on Wednesday 7 February 2018 At Aylesbury Tennis Club

 

Present: P Rice, R Lipscombe, M Pollard, N Sabatini, T Skeggs, R Small, A Swain, Mrs M Stevens,

The Minutes: of the meeting of 3 January 2018 were agreed

 

Matters Arising:

We have had a response from Liz Verral at B & B concerning information that should be passed on to us. Margaret will write to her again.

One proposed rule change has been received by the Chairman. The rules subcommittee will meet before the next committee meeting to discuss changes.

Simon Wears has withdrawn his resignation from Berks and Bucks. The Adult Leagues Benefits Pack is being dealt with by Lisa Welling, we will arrange a meeting with her.

 

Correspondence:

We have had a letter from a member of Oving Reserves concerning abuse at a recent game.

This will be reported to Berks and Bucks FA and the other club involved will be contacted.

Two sets of kit which had been left at the cleaners a year ago have been allocated to the first two clubs who asked for it. Another two clubs made enquiries, so if anyone has spare kit they no longer use, please contact a member of the committee.

Peter is in constant touch with AVDC about hiring their pitches and finding playable ones for quarter-final cup matches

Transfer - Safiea Khan from Elmhurst to Bedgrove Dynamos.

Andrew Lambie resigned from Thame Rangers signed for Haddenham.

6 January Haddenham reserves could not field a team – 3rd offence – fined £75 plus half referee’s fee rule 10f

20 January New Zealand could not field a team fined £50 plus referee’s fee rule 10 f, match awarded to Elmhurst.

 

Referees Secretary’s Report

All games were covered with a badged official in January. All games currently are only just being covered with limited referees available at present. There are several referees that cannot referee some teams due to ongoing problems, following the increased number of critical referee reports received, these have been passed to County HQ for action.

 

Press/Results Secretary’s Report

Marc is looking for a photographer for the Cup Finals. If anyone is available can they let him know.

 

Any Other Business

The AGM will be on Thursday 7 June 2018 provisionally.

We have ball boys for the cup finals – they are in fact ball girls

Richard will organise the programmes for the finals.

The Tom Sparkes, Sheffield Jackman and Reserve Cups need to be returned to the Treasurer by the 28th February. They need to be properly cleaned.

This season if they are late or returned dirty the clubs will be fined.

 

Following the meeting the Committee heard two appeals from clubs concerning their fines.

The appeal from Quainton concerning an ineligible player was dismissed.

The appeal from Aylesbury Dynamos reserves concerning a late team sheet to the referee was dismissed. Aylesbury Dynamos appeal concerning a late kick off was allowed.

Representatives from Bedgrove Dynamos then attended the meeting to discuss the condition of the changing rooms at Wingrave New Rec in November and they agreed to take the matter back to their committee for discussion.

The meeting closed at 9.40

The next meeting was arranged for Wednesday 7 March 2018
