ADL Committee Minutes - Oct 2017

Minutes of the meeting of Aylesbury and District Football League Committee held at  

7.30 p.m. on Wednesday 4 October 2017at Aylesbury Tennis Club

The Minutes: of the meeting of 6 September 2017were agreed. 

 

Matters Arising: 

Peter and Margaret are to meet with members of Berks and Bucks to discuss matters that have occurred over the last season. 

A reply has been received from John O’Conner concerning the state of the pitches, which was very non-committal.  Peter will inspect the pitches this weekend – there may be a health and safety issue if holes have not been filled in.

Can we remind you all that you CANNOT sign a player on the day for any cup games, they need to be registered 7 days before. However Berks and Bucks games are by mid day on the Friday.  

Transfer requests are as previous years, a signed transfer form from both team secretaries and player along with £15 transfer fee, then through the WGS request a notice of approach and if Marcie received your completed form she will transfer them. 

Please remember to score your referee on your team sheet and any scores under 50 need to have a letter sent to Kevin Saw with your reason why. Rule 13H. 

If you are not sure if a player is registered just check on WGS.

 All fixtures bar one were covered by a badged referee in September. 

There are some new referees arriving to the league. 

Letters have been received from Bucks CC and from Rivets concerning the standard of the referees.  These have been passed to Berks and Bucks. 

 Press/Results Secretary’s Report 

Nothing has been received from Ayletico regarding results, goal scorers etc.  All clubs need to contact Marc with details of their game and goal scorers for the newspaper.  Two clubs are sending in photos, Ludgershall and Aylesbury Raiders.  Can more clubs please send in photos. 

 Any Other Business 

Greg Thompson attended the committee meeting concerning the future behaviour of New Zealand. 

The committee send their condolences to the family of Mickey Arnott  an ex-player of HUFC, who died recently. 

Bedgrove Dynamos are to be congratulated on their hard work in significantly improving the  condition of their pitch at Bowlers Field 

The meeting closed at 9.20  

The next meeting was arranged for Wednesday 1stNovember 2017
