Correspondence:

Matthew Pill has emailed to let us know that as part of their commitment to the 11 v 11 game BBFA have allocated a set level of funding to a retention fund.

They would like help in identifying teams who are seen as ‘risk’ early so they can put in place an action plan to stop them from folding. Each claim will be judged on a club by club basis. The club must show that any successful application will help sustain teams in the 11 v 11 adult male game.

If any teams think they are struggling please let him know by phone 01235 544890 or email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Referees Secretary’s Report

1st October.  Stone failed to contact the referee £5 fine rule 10D

Having tried to bring to the attention of every club, in as many ways we can think of, that the Aylesbury and District League has a shortage of referees for the season 2016/2017, it is with regret therefore that we have received two separate e-mails from referees about the conduct of players abusing them to an unacceptable standard.

Can we please remind ALL secretaries, yet again, that your managers are there, to MANAGE your players, which unfortunately means at times that they need to substitute players long before the referee becomes involved.

There is a clear system to report referees who you feel have fallen below the acceptable standard, which does NOT include them being subjected to excessive abuse.  Your appointed referee expects to receive your support, which on occasions your club could be failing to give, which means the amount of available referees will continue on a downward path, so please pass on this message.

64 out of 68 matches were covered by badged officials during September

All referees have been asked to contact the home club, should they be faced with an emergency on the day of their match and are unable to attend, prior to ringing Kevin.

Under NO circumstances is Jamie Bishop to be used in any ADL matches, as he is presently under B&B FA suspension.
