Referees Secretary’s Report

The referees meeting was successful, but there are not enough referees for the season.

If anyone is interested in doing a referees course, please contact Kevin.

Several referees have resigned because of the abuse they received last season, also other leagues are offering higher fees than ADL to referees.  If you do not have a referee appointed for your game rule 13B applies:

In the event of the non-appearance of the appointed Referee the appointed senior Assistant

Referee shall take charge and a substitute Assistant Referee appointed by the competing Teams.

In cases where there are no officially appointed Assistant Referees, the Clubs shall agree upon a

Referee. Failure to agree shall render both Clubs liable to a fine not exceeding £200.00. A

Referee thus agreed upon shall, for that game, have the full powers, status and authority of a

registered Referee.

Can players all be made aware that some rules within the game have changed for this season.

The electronic version of the laws of the game 2016/17 can be downloaded from the website www.theifab.com  which also contains a summary of the law changes.

Can all managers ensure that the teams perform the Respect Handshake before kickoff.

Press/Results Secretary’s Report

Results need to be sent to Marc, text 07738 215353

The ADL website has some problems, but these are being dealt with.
