ADL Committee Minutes - Aug 2016

Minutes of the meeting of Aylesbury and District Football League Committee held at 

7.30 p.m. on Wednesday 3 August 2016 At Bucks CC Sports and Social Club

 

Present:P Rice, Mrs M HarrisonRLipscombe, M Pollard, K Saw,R Small, Mrs M Stevens,

A Swain, M Thoday.

 

Apologies were received fromD Bayliss,N Sabatini,TSkeggs

 

A minute’s silence was observed to commemorate Frank Crowdy, the life President of ADFL who gave 60 years to local football.  His funeral was earlier today.

 

The Minutes: of the meeting of  13 Julywere agreed.

 

Matters Arising

There were none.

 

Correspondence:

Berks and Bucks has provisionally sanctioned the rules of ADFL season 2016/17, providing we re-submit the rules in line with the new Standard Code of Rules.

 

Treasurer’s Report:

Balance B/F £12,524.

No Expenditure

Income = £355 (Fines £50, League Fees £120, Cup Fees £125 & Programme Advertising £60)

Balance C/F £12,879

 

CLUB DEPOSITS

Balance B/F £3,175

Returned £250 (Waddesdon FC less £50 fine)

Balance C/F £2,925

 

Registration Secretary’s Report

Only a few forms have been received.  They are all due in by Sunday 7 August and an email has been sent to all clubs to remind them of this.

All photos need to be passport size and on photographic paper, on the retention form you must put ID card numbers otherwise you need to order replacement ones,

Aylesbury Sports have returned their cards.

Tring Town (x 2) Walton Court and Waddesdon (x2) have not returned their cards

 

Fixtures Secretary’s Report

Mitoo is no longer in existence.  Danny is working on FA Full-Time to get that up and running for this coming season instead.  To log on to this site it is necessary to first google Full-time and follow links.  Once more information is known it will be sent to secretaries.

 

Referees Secretary’s Report

Kevin attended a referees secretaries meeting at Berks and Bucks on 14 July, but only 6 attended.  He was informed that the referee levels and grading are likely to be changing.

He has 21 referees signed for next season so far.

Kevin has arranged a referees social evening on Thursday 1 September, 7.30 at Aylesbury Squash and Tennis Club.

 

Press/Results Secretary’s Report

Fixtures and results will have to go on Full-Time this coming season.

Congratulations were given  to Marc Thoday for his article in the Bucks Herald this week.

               

Any Other Business

There will not be a hard copy of the rules this season as they have to be re-written to conform 

with the new Standard Code of Rules.

We are still waiting for Matthew Pill to send us an Idiots Guide to the Whole Game System.

First Aid – We will require someone from each team who has been first aid trained within the last 5 years.

Congratulations to Wingrave on reaching the 125th anniversary of their football club.

 

The meeting closed at 9.10 p.m.

The next meeting was arranged for Wednesday 6 September 2016.
