ADL Committee Minutes - January 2016

Minutes of the meeting of Aylesbury and District Football League Committee held at 7.30 p.m. on Wednesday 6 January 2016 At Bucks CC Sports and Social Club


Present:P Rice, D Bayliss, M Pollard,N SabatiniT Skeggs, Mrs M Stevens,M Thoday.

The Minutes: of the meeting of 2 Decemberwere agreed.


Matters Arising

The referees course has been postponed.

Great Milton’s cancelled match on 7 November was a Cup match, so no referee fee is payable.



A J North, one of our vice-presidents sadly passed away in December.

We are to be visited by a representative of Berks and Bucks at the next meeting, if anyone has questions they want to put please let the league secretary know.

Matt Day of Rivets has asked that both first team and reserve team fixtures be confirmed with him.

Chandos Arms have withdrawn from the league. No players can be re-registered until the league have been informed that all their financial obligations have been cleared.

Sam Howard has tendered his resignation to the committee, because of other commitments.

Referees Secretary’s Report

4 referees have resigned over the last month and one new referee has been recruited.

There will be a meeting for all ADL referees to attend on Thursday January 28, being held at Aylesbury Squash and Tennis Club.  There is a guest speaker, so the meeting will statrt at 7.30 promptly.  Any prospective referees are also welcome to attend.
