ADL Committee Minutes - Sept 2014

Minutes of the meeting of Aylesbury and District Football League Executive Committee held at 7.30 p.m. on Wednesday 3 September 2014 At Bucks CC Sports and Social Club

 

Present:P Rice, D Bayliss, Mrs M Harrison, M Pollard,N Sabatini, K SawT Skeggs,Mrs M Stevens,M Thoday.

Pond Park and Longwick failed to attend the pre-season secretaries meeting Fined £50 each club

 

Registration Secretary’s Report

Will clubs please attach photos to registration forms, glued or sellotaped, not stapled .  

Double check the date of birth and signature and write the name of the club on the form.

Please write the player’s name in capitals, so spelling mistakes do not occur.

Some clubs are sending in forms without payment being made, but in future

new registration forms and photo ID need to be sent with £3.00 or they will not be processed.

Can all teams that are missing cards please let Marcie know so she can chase them up.As the cards go direct to the clubs Marcie assumes they have received them unless she is told otherwise.

 

Fixtures Secretary’s Report

The fixtures for the next five weeks have been arranged.

September 6  Bedgrove United reserves asked for a free week -this was declined as they did not give enough notice.

September 13   Wingrave have asked for a free week – agreed

September 27   Rivets 1st team asked for a free week – agreed

October 11    Quainton 1st team asked for a free week – agreed.

 

Waddesdon reserves referee’s team sheet only contained 2 players  - fine of £5

30 August - Downley Albion Res vs Quainton Res – Downley did not fulfil fixture-Downley fined £25, points awarded to Quainton.

Danny needs details of all the venues, some have changed.

 

Referees Secretary

There are at present 32 registered referees, including 6 new refs.

30 August -Quainton did not inform the referee’s secretary their game was cancelled, so he could allocate elsewhere   fine £5

 

Press/Results Secretary’s Report

Information concerning the ADFL was sent to the Bucks Herald last week – 30 August – but it was not printed.  The reports will be put onto the website after Wednesdays in future.

Any Other Business

  • Amar Mukhtarhas offered an award for the highest goal scorer in the premier division.

  • Rule 10F, Quainton have concerns about this conflicting with the week off per team rule, and are considering referring this to Berks and Bucks FA.

  • It was asked whether a player who has signed for a team but not played needs to pay for a transfer – yes he does.

  • Thank you to those clubs who have contacted Berks and Bucks with the details of the dates their suspended players will miss.  

  • The referees secretary will be on holiday from 27 September for one week. Hewill do appointments up to and including Sat 4th October on Mitoo  butany cancellations etc. will be dealt with by Marc Thoday.

All finals will be held at Tring Athletic Football Club, and will have a 7.30 p.m. kick off, with the exception of Good Friday which will have a 10.45 a.m. kick off.
