ADL Committee Minutes - Dec 2013

Minutes of the meeting of Aylesbury and District Football League Executive Committee held on Wednesday 4 December 2013 At Bucks CC Sports and Social Club

 

Present:M Pollard (Chair)N Sabatini, T Skeggs, K Saw,Mrs M Stevens,A Swain, M Thoday.

 

Apologies were received from D Bayliss,M. Dobson, Mrs M Harrison,S Howard, P Rice.

 

The Minutes: of the meeting of 2 Novemberwere agreed.

 

Matters Arising

  • Bucks CC did not play Northchurch on 5.10 as Northchurch were playing in the Herts FA Cup.  Bucks CC therefore do not owe a fine.

 

Correspondence:

  • One of Haddenham’s players has broken his leg while playing football.  They were advised to contact B & B about their Personal Accident insurance.

        Aylesbury Ex-Services – no team sheet received.  Still awaiting their team sheets for 12 & 28

Can all clubs please remember to pay £2.50 when they apply for each new registration.

 

Fixtures Secretary’s Report

30.11  BiertonRes V Wendover Reserves – game cancelled Wendover could not raise a team

£25 fine Wendover

30.11 Aylesbury Wanderers V Long Marston – Game cancelled, Aylesbury Wanderers could not     raise a team£50 fine Aylesbury Wanderers as this is the          second time this year they have called a game off.

 

There will be no fixtures on the 28th December unless you are involved in the Oving Village Cup.

Aylesbury Sports and Quaintonhave both asked for a free weekend on 21 December.

 

Referees Secretary’s Report

The average ref mark is 76.80. Lee Humphrey is top of the averages bar with a mark of 83.667.

 

One club have given a low score and report for their referee to Peter, who is now on holiday, as is Mike.  It will be passed on to Mike when they both return.

Any Other Business

  • At the end of last season a player in one team had not discharged his debts, then signed for another team without collecting his registration card, thus creating a second card.  

The club in question will be asked to account for their actions.

This is not the first incidence of thisoccurrence, measures need to be put in place to prevent it happening in future.  Kevin is willing to co-ordinate a system for this.
